The latest statistics (2021) show that hospital-at-home programs show that this model of care is gaining momentum.  Data from American Hospital Association (AHA) and the Hospital-at-Home Users Group, show there has beens significant increase in hospitals implementing these type of programs across the United States. A report from AHA found approximately 69% of hospitals surveyed had implemented or were planning to implement an Hospital-at-Home program. This is a substantial increase from  previous years, indicating a growing trend toward home-based care.

Additionally, studies published in JAMA (Journal of American Medical Association) in 2020 found positive outcomes for these programs, including reduced hospital readmission, lower costs, and high patient satisfaction rates.
